Dear guests, with one week to go until the Easter holidays, our official 2022 summer season was about to begin. From 11 April, our fixed menu for the year was available on the website, accompanied by a changing monthly menu.
More schnitzel varieties
For those who already knew us, we placed greater emphasis on our ever-popular schnitzel variations and expanded this part of the menu. Schnitzel dishes had become exceptionally popular over the previous two years. The wonderful feedback encouraged us to add several more creative versions.
Our Schäuferla and another changing roast of the month naturally remained available. We reduced the roast selection for the summer because demand had been falling year by year, but meat lovers still had plenty to choose from.
Our vegan roast
Demand for vegan food, on the other hand, was stronger than ever. As we are not fans of artificial meat substitutes or convenience products, we developed a varied vegetable roast made entirely in our own kitchen. We even serve it with potato dumpling and cabbage as a “vegan roast”. This made us Bamberg’s first restaurant with a vegan roast, and we looked forward to welcoming many curious new vegan guests.
